Privacy policy

Ethos Meta Ads Connector is an internal tool operated by The Ethos Team (theethosteam.com). It lets authorized team members manage Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising for the businesses they work with, through Claude.

What we collect

• When you sign in with Facebook: your Facebook user ID, name, email address (if shared), the permissions you granted, and an access token. The token is stored encrypted and is only used to make the Meta API calls you request.
• A log of changes made through the connector (who, which tool, which ad account, when, and the result), so the team can audit activity. Customer-list data is hashed with SHA-256 before it is sent to Meta and is never stored in this log.
• Images and videos you choose to upload for ads, stored temporarily so Meta can fetch them.

How we use it

Only to perform the advertising actions you ask for, within the ad accounts, Pages and businesses your own Meta role allows. We do not sell, rent or share this data with anyone other than Meta, and we do not use it for any other purpose.

Retention and deletion

Access tokens expire after about 60 days or when you disconnect. You can disconnect at any time in Claude or by removing the app in your Facebook settings. See data deletion to have your data removed.
